We were overjoyed about everything: the families, the placements, the city, the social activities, the cooperation with you, your excellent preparation and care during those two weeks. It was a great success. You did a marvellous job. Thank you very much for all your work and time. We want to carry on organising our work experience project with you. I hope you feel the same and you also want to carry on. I also spoke to students who took part. In fact, seven are in my bilingual history class. Two of them, Paula and Talea, actually stayed with you. All of them were absolutely happy. They said it was a great experience and a wonderful time. What a success. I don't think we have had such overwhelmingly positive responses from all our students so far. I hope you were also satisfied with our students. Therefore we are looking forward to continuing our partnership. This success story might even tempt me to join this project myself again, having launched it in 2009. Thanks again for your unique help!  

Mal som tú česť absolvovať lekcie angličtiny s Annie Taylor, veľmi oceňujem jej ústretovosť a úžasný pristup. Na hodinách nikdy nebola nuda, stále som získal niečo nové, bol som veľmi spokojný s ochotou a trpezlivosťou vysvetliť čokoľvek. Každému kto by sa chcel zdokonaliť v angličtine vrelo odporúčam jej lekcie.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen Annie Taylor ein halbes Jahr als meine Englischlehrerin zu haben. Mit ihrer positiven Ausstrahlung und ihrer Motivation, die sie von Stunde zu Stunde auf uns Schüler übertragen hat, gestaltete sich ihr Unterricht sehr interessant und vielseitig. Durch ihren Humor und ihren sehr guten Ideen wurden ihre Stunden nie langweilig und sehr abwechslungsreich, sodass ich immer mit viel Freude in ihren Unterricht gegangen bin. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, dass Annie mit ihrer Geduld, ihrem Engagement und ihrem französischem Charme eine sehr gute Lehrerin ist, die ich nur wärmstens empfehlen kann. I had French speaking lessons with Annie once a week while preparing for my A levels. It was very useful to be able to practise my language skills with a native speaker, particularly one as lovely as Annie! She is very patient and friendly and always came up with imaginative activities for us to do. I learnt a lot from her which helped me to do well in my final exams and beyond.

As a training centre for adult  education we had the possibility to send some of our trainees abroad with the ERASMUS + program.  We chose Tailored Languages for our partnership in England. Annie tended to the organisation of the work study  placements, housing and transportation for our trainees as well as any personal requests. I later went to stay with Annie for a trainer program with Erasmus +. Basingstoke is the perfect town for getting to know the English way of life. It has a large diversity of cultures, is very lively and provides a wide variety of cultural activities  and sport. Our trainees were ideally placed and could access the town centre by foot or could take the public transport according to their activities. I can honestly say that Annie is a perfect hostess and project co-ordinator. I definitely recommend Tailored Languages.

In the fall of 2016, we did a two-week work experience in Basingstoke, organised by Annie Taylor from Tailored Languages.  Mrs Taylor picked up our group consisting of 12 students from the airport and once in Basingstoke all the students in pairs were assigned to their host families and they then started their adventure.  Most of the placements took one student so we independently had to get to and from work every day although Annie gave instructions on the bus lines and the city.  Additionally she planned a trip to Winchester and activities in the evening which students could and from what we experienced all the hosts families were carefully picked out by Annie and just overwhelmingly friendly during our entire stay.  The work placements too were all amazing choices and everyone of us benefitted from this trip and we were extremely sad when it was over.

I contacted Annie in my second year of college. I found it difficult to have the confidence to speak French in front of my teachers and peers, but after my sessions with Annie I started to have a lot more fluency and confidence. I am now off to study French and Italian at the University of Leicester and feel that without the tuition I would not have been able to achieve this, so thank you very much Annie!
